Charge the battery - set the fuel tap on prime - choke on - crank it over- when it fires and runs - take her for a 20 mile ride - then top up the tank with fresh gas and enjoy the coming riding season.

The days when gas was terribly unstable in locations where the climate is cool to cold in winter are pretty much past - my Savage has sat for as long at 12 months and then started on the old gas - admittedly with a few extra pops initially.

Yoou might want to advance the date of your next oil change a bit - oxidation in the oil will have occured over the winter - taking the bike for a 20 mile run will get the oil and engine warmed up enough to evaporate any condensation that built up inside the engine cases over the winter.

Keep the rubber side down
